Analyst reports tell you what vendors do. Peer reviews tell you whether it actually works.
The Gartner® Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for SIEM is built on verified reviews from real security and IT practitioners who bought, deployed, and operated the platforms they rated. No vendor involvement in the scoring. No pay-to-play placement. Just practitioners saying what worked and what did not.
Graylog was included in the 2026 edition of that report. Here’s what our users said.
What Is the Gartner® Peer Insights SIEM Voice of the Customer?
The Gartner® Peer Insights SIEM Voice of the Customer (VOC) synthesizes reviews into an overall perspective for IT and security decision-makers. To qualify for inclusion, a vendor needs at least 20 eligible reviews from enterprise companies with more than $50M in annual revenue, submitted over 18 months.
Vendors are scored on two dimensions. The first is Overall Experience, covering product quality, capabilities, and support. The second is User Interest and Adoption, which factors in review volume, geographic and industry diversity, and willingness to recommend. Those two scores determine quadrant placement.
The most important thing to understand: every number in this report comes from customers, not Gartner analysts.
How Did Graylog Score in the 2026 SIEM Voice of the Customer?
In the most recent 18-month review period, Graylog received the following ratings from verified enterprise reviewers: *Based on 52 reviews as of Jan 2026
- Overall Rating:6 / 5.0
- Product Capabilities:5 / 5.0
- Sales Experience:4 / 5.0
- Deployment Experience:4 / 5.0
- Support Experience:4 / 5.0
- Willingness to Recommend: 86%*
Nothing below 4.4 across five distinct evaluation categories. To us, that is not just a product story. It is a customer experience story. It means the people buying Graylog, deploying it, and calling support are consistently satisfied at every stage of that relationship.
Where Is Graylog Positioned in the 2026 SIEM VOC Quadrant?
Graylog is positioned in the Aspiring quadrant of the 2026 SIEM VOC. That placement reflects where we are as a SIEM vendor at this point in our growth, not how customers rate the product.
The Aspiring quadrant applies to vendors below the market average on both Overall Experience and User Interest and Adoption. The User Interest and Adoption score incorporates review volume and market coverage across industries, geographies, and company sizes. Graylog Security launched two years ago. We entered the Gartner® Magic Quadrant for SIEM in 2025 as one of only three new vendors, even as eight dropped off. Our Peer Insights review base is growing, but we are still building the breadth required to meet the market-average thresholds on the adoption axis.
The Gartner methodology notes that Aspiring vendors can include those who are newer to the enterprise space, innovating rapidly, or unique in their approach. We believe that describes Graylog fairly. And we feel the ratings speak for themselves: 4.6 overall and 86% willing to recommend, regardless of quadrant placement.
Why Peer Reviews Matter More for Mid-Market SIEM Buyers
If you are running a lean security team with two or three analysts, a manager handling architecture, and a CISO reporting to the board each quarter, the most useful intelligence is not a quadrant graphic. It is whether organizations like yours are actually succeeding with a platform after the demo ends.
That is what peer reviews measure. When 86%* of Graylog’s verified enterprise reviewers say they would recommend the platform to a colleague, that is a signal worth taking seriously.
Graylog customers consistently point to the same outcomes: faster deployment than expected, support that actually responds, and a platform that does not require a dedicated team of specialists to keep running. That is the use case we built for, and it is good to see the reviews reflect it.
