Inputs Demystified: Connect Anything with the Input Wizard

Inputs Demystified Webinar

Getting logs into Graylog does not require a PhD in syslog.

That is the idea behind our next session in the Getting the Most out of Graylog Open series: Inputs Demystified: Connect Anything with the Input Wizard. Whether you are onboarding your first log source or your fiftieth, this session is built to make the Inputs framework in Graylog Open make sense.

What to Expect?

Join presenter Jeff Darrington, Director of Technical Marketing at Graylog, for a practical walkthrough of:

  • The full Inputs framework in Graylog Open, and how it fits into your data pipeline
  • The different input types available, and when to use each one
  • How the Input Wizard gets new sources connected faster, with less guesswork
  • The revamped Inputs page, and what is new
  • How to validate that your data is arriving clean once a new input is live

This session is built for Graylog Open users who want a clearer, faster path from “I have a log source” to “that log source is in Graylog and I trust the data.” A basic familiarity with Graylog is helpful, but this is not a deep technical deep-dive. It is a practical guide to a part of Graylog every user touches.

Note: Make sure you are running the latest version of Graylog Open before the session so you can follow along with what we cover.
