NOTE: Graylog has made many updates to the application since this release. We encourage you to update to the latest version and take advantage of the large number of new features and functionality.
We are excited to announce that Graylog 1.1 is now available! This has been a significant update, with more than 27 new features/enhancements – you asked and we’re delivering.
Before getting into the 1.1 release details, I wanted to share some more good news. Over the last 5 months, we have seen our community grow by 100%. This wouldn’t have been possible without your support, so thank you everyone for supporting Graylog and spreading the word!
The Graylog release theme for 1.1 is usability and ease of management. We wanted to deliver a complete end-to-end log management solution which now includes a lightweight cross-platform log collector. Since releasing the beta, we have received a lot of positive feedback about the new features and enhancements in 1.1. Here are a couple of quotes from the community on the 1.1 release:
“I absolutely love the redesign of the 1.1 Web Interface.” – System Engineer, Large Healthcare Provider

UPGRADE NOTES
Upgrading from 1.0 and newer or an earlier 1.1 beta or RC releases of Graylog is possible without any required data migration. We recommend that you compare your existing graylog.conf with the shipped example config file to see if there are new parameters for which you want to change the default values.
The collector is available through these links: .zip, .tgz
The documentation for the collector is available on GitHub and will move to our official documentation soon.
Our virtual appliance in OVA format is available here.
